I’d be happy if Ford would just fix the horrible windshield ticking/clicking noise that a lot of us have commented on. Makes driving it miserable unless I just leave the radio blasted so I can’t hear it. A lot us need windshields to either be removed and reinstalled or replaced completely.

It’s by far the most frustrating noise I’ve ever had in any vehicle. Mainly because I can’t find what’s causing it. I’m not opposed to tearing the dash apart but really don’t want to have to go that far. I believe it has something to do with seal around the windshield.

They have me the normal dealer line of “If it gets worse, definitely let us know”.

Temps dropped here in TN over the past few days and I noticed I have this dreaded windshield “ticking” noise. Never heard it until temps dropped. Has anyone had any luck with dealer replacing windshield due to this noise?

Has anyone had any success going to dealer about this? Every couple of days I’ll be in traffic and the brakes will grab hard enough to feel like someone hit me. I’d take it in but I feel like I’ll probably get the “it’s normal for a hybrid” line until Ford actually comes up with a long term fix.

Seems like a lot more hybrid lariat with lux getting scheduled than xlt with lux.

Gotta be honest, every week I don’t get scheduled I’m on Autotrader looking for hybrid vehicles….then I’m back to checking my email 1,000 times on Thursday. It’s a vicious cycle.

Went to Ford website and got on the chat. Told me “order is still in processing”. Hybrid XLT with Lux pkg in velocity blue. Ordered in June. I still have a little hope for today, but not much.

Did Alto Blue look lighter in person? I’m stuck between that blue and velocity blue.

The description says no voice control for SiriusXM channels. Does that mean you get SiriusXM on XL and XLT, only without voice control?

Just switched from the Alto Blue to Velocity Blue club. Decided I didn’t want to wonder how if my Maverick was really blue or not.
