The dealership just texted me a moment ago they also want to replace my driver's side axel shaft because there still getting shaking while accelerating. This truck is starting to piss me off, lol.
Having my CV axels replaced today. The dealership has had my Maverick the previous two days as well for recall work. They just texted me a moment ago they also want to replace my driver's side axel shaft because there still getting shaking while accelerating. This truck is starting to piss me...
I suppose I'm just used to them being better from past experiences.
They did just give me a call back saying they plan to be done by end of the day. Fingers crossed. I could not and would not deal with 10 days wait time. That's nuts. Three days will have messed up my transportation enough...
I know I'm probably just being impatient, but my local dealership has had my '22 Hybrid for 2.5 days now for the 3 most recent recalls and replacing my CVs due to shaking while accelerating. They aren't offering me a rental/vehicle to use and getting updates is a voicemail tag game with them...
I'm at 19k miles on my '22 hybrid lariat and dropped it off at the dealership today due to excessive shaking while accelerating. Also had 3 recalls for them to address.
They told me to plan on them having my truck the whole day, likely part of tomorrow due to the warranty work likely taking...
I'm picking up a bed rack and am purchasing a different hard tonneau cover that mounts inside the rails as this softcover mounts on top and won't work with the bed rack I'll be purchasing. Have only had the cover since June 2022. Let me know if you have any questions.
Photos (don't mind my...
I'm sure there are a few folks here and there with lifts, or maybe as a couple mentioned, there may be folks with mobility issues who might be clamoring for running boards.
Maybe a couple just need to spend some money and like the look.
However, I doubt they'll be high up on most Maverick...
I haven't driven my hybrid Maverick in snow yet as I've only had it since the beginning of May. That said, I drove a fwd Impala for the past 12 years in Michigan with no issues. I expect this will be better than that, even if only marginally. If I have any concerns once winter hits, I may get...
Can further confirm Lasfit lights work great.
I replaced all of my rear lights and above bed lights with their LEDs. The exception being my 3rd brake light above the bed, I went with one LED from eBay that does three strobe flashes before staying solid. They're super bright and no hyperflashing.
Oof, this is frustrating.
I would also want a professional detailer to fix this and not the spray in bedliner person, unless they do pro detailing, too.
I suppose there are a million mirror options out there. I only really care about the Homelink, or at least built in buttons for my garage door so I didn't need to have my garage door remote. I also preferred not having to wire it up, or splice things in, if possible.
I picked up this mirror on...
I'll get warnings and have had braking if someone takes their sweet time slowing/turning in front of me, either from the same lane or if they are sticking into the lane a little bit. I feel it can be a little over sensitive for my comfort level but I've never had mine go off for the hell of...
Had a decent trip using up the last bit of my first tank of gas today. Anytime I see 40+ mpg I know I'm now at least doubling what my previous vehicle got on average.
I did mostly normal mode for my first 300 or so miles, and then made a point to switch to eco mode each trip. I also do mostly travel a variety of roads with 35-55mph speed limits.
