I would be more concerned about the vehicle dying in the middle lane of traffic on the interstate, or while going down a steep grade towing a trailer. What if it died in the middle of a turn through a busy intersection?
My advice is to park it...demand a loaner from Ford, until the problem is...
For future reference, my truck is a hybrid. My build date was the week of March 14th. From what I can tell, build date doesn't matter...this isn't poor QC, it's a design flaw.
And for the record, overall I think the truck is AWESOME. However...
@Ford Motor Company : Don't make fools out of all...

GOT IT! What a surprise to have it delivered so soon after the notice that it was going to be at the end of the month. Maverick is beyond my expectations. I hope you have a similar experience.
I got the same message. The truck is sitting in a yard in Flat Rock Michigan, has been for over a month. Customer service could only forward my ire up the ladder.
Ordered my hybrid July 6th. It was supposed to roll into the dealer between April 15th-21st..NOPE. Now it is going to sit in a rail yard in Michigan for another month. I have seen several others in the same boat. Very, very, poor logistics.
