Looks like you can get 4 bulbs delivered for around $60 at https://parts.sheehyfordofrichmond.com/p/Ford__Maverick/Tail-Light-Bulb/98537430/JL3Z13466D.html
Yeah the lasfits are expensive so I will definitely mess with the incandescent bulbs first, and then try electrical tape with the Lasfits. I will post my results here :)
This is very helpful! So basically, I just want to remove that contact. When you say cut it, you just mean get it rid of it basically? Or cover it with electrical tape so it doesn't make contact? I wonder if this will work with my Lasfit LEDs? I am going to try with the original bulbs first for...

Before I go tapping into every wire, it sounds like you tried every wire going into the headlight and the best you got was the all brown wire?
And the brown wire will turn the light bar on and off with the headlights?
I installed this hose yesterday in preparation to installing the aeroskin II. Do you notice that it lifts up the corners of the hood closest to the windshield? For me it seems to have lifted up a bit and also makes unlatching the hood feel much stiffer/clunky.
Just curious on others’ experience
