I was still under warranty so the dealer fixed it...wasn't the speaker, was the relay that controls the speaker. I think it's all located under the back seat.

I guess that makes sense. Still a very annoying problem to have. Guess I'll call around to the various other dealers and see if they'll work with me. The CEL isn't on all the time, which would make it tough to replicate at a shop because it could very well turn itself off by the time I got...
