Alright my detailed owner review so far....
That's probably the pedestrian warning. If the engine is off but the propulsion system is active (i.e. you see "READY" on the cluster), then that hum/buzzing sound will be on if you're in Drive/Reverse and your speed is under ~20 mph. It's a hybrid safety thing that is required by law.- truraptor
