Mine was also wobbling after a few weeks of use. They need to reevaluate this specific mounting point design. The screw doesn't seem to be threading into anything besides that "passenger airbag light" trim panel.
On my lariat when I grab driver door handle only the driver door unlocks. Grabbing front passenger door would unlock all doors. Is this the limitation of the smart access feature or did I miss something in menus/settings?
Sorry for late reply. Both lariat and xlt have the rotary knob but it resets to auto headlights function.
It's as if Ford assumes that their average driver is too incompetent to turn on headlights when condition warrant it.
As for the auto highbeam that can be turned off in the driver...
Try disabling Fordpass connectivity in the vehicle setting to rule out if that is source of the battery drain. You won't be able to get vehicle status, location, remote start/lock/unlock thru the app.
A side benefit is that data logging / diagnostic won't be sent back to Ford.
Here is manufacturer product page that lists the details on each mirror.
The main features for each mirror is: size, convex/flat, chrome/aluminum plate, blue tint/clear.

I have Lariat and single press of the start button puts the truck into full on accessory mode with headlights (auto on always).
In other brands like Lexus there is two stage accessory mode (2 presses to turn on partial and then to full accessory).
Is this just the way Ford vehicles are?
Is...
Unfortunately it seems you have no option to apply Fordpass points when checking out online thru Ford accessories site. One positive is that shipping is free to your local dealer.
It is more like a fine mist instead of a puddle so I guess this is just a feature not a defect :giggle: .
Which reminds me that I haven't yet driven it at night so headlight have never been turned on since I've taken deliver of it 2 weeks ago.
Here's my first major issue I came across on my Lariat. There is visible condensation on the lower part of the passenger headlight housing. Anyone else seeing condensation built up in their headlights? I searched forums but came up with nothing so wondering if I'm the first owner to come...
Could it have been overfilled and they then just let some drain out? Then they are not being honest by not documenting this. Were there any visible leaks on ground or underside when you started having shifting issues?
I'm also apprehensive on getting a Ford (first time). I've only owned Lexus, toyota, honda, acura, nissan, infiniti, subaru. On those cars there never were any catastrophic / major issue during the warranty period.
I'm bewildered how Ford techs managed to totally screw up the OP's...
That's good to hear. I'm assuming when this happens the ACC or cruise can be defeated by just braking as well? I've got older drivers in family that have no idea how to disable these things if toggled on by mistake.
I'm assuming this fix requires dropping the tranny, engine, subframe, exhaust to get to that seal?
At least it was caught early but leaks like this shouldn't happen ever on a new vehicle.
I'm seriously getting second thoughts on taking delivery of my Lariat AWD that's in transit. :(
Also when using fuse taps the fuses need to be slotted in the right order and the tap itself needs to be slotted correctly so that the 'hot side' completes a full circuit.

Did you also buy the exact one in that link? That one points to SKU: CS-AC105-852, which shows BWM 3 series 2006. That SKU along with all grill mounts on there are sold out.
Yes do keep us updated on the process. I mainly want to know if they drill into front bumper for the license plate. I assume they don't since PA doesn't require front plates. I like others want to use the grill mount install for front plate instead.
Is there no accessory fuse (labeled ACC in owner manual) in Ford vehicles? Other makes have a fuse which only powers on in accessory mode or the engine turned on. That fuse usually power the 12v / cig outlets.
