This repair is for the camera image "freeze" recall. According to the dealership: no solution yet for the battery cable recall.

Finally- the local Ford dealership called and scheduled a repair of my Maverick's rear view camera at my home this week.

My first oil change was at 1000 miles. I put in a magnetic drain plug in at the same time. Nothing much was seen on the plug in other changes since then.

The wife has a little stuffed Husky whose home is in the cubby. His main job is to disable the auto stop/start function when we start up the Mav.

This is a tragedy, but it could have been worse. When you have a car accident, everyone walking away unscathed is the thing to focus on- you are blessed. That color is beautiful, i have never seen it on the road.
