  1. Tow wiring harness- Do I really need a battery power connection?

I'm going to get the Curt 'plug-n-play' harness. The leads for the rear lights are very light gauge, and trying to reliably splice those would be a bear. JimKivi, you're suggestion to use the bed power harness is great. And AutobahnSHO, my Ebay sell box is looking like my box-o-parts box. I...
  2. Tow wiring harness- Do I really need a battery power connection?

It's 'Hoppy' brand. No idea how old. I'm not finding any online references for it. I'm pretty sure it was designed for incandescent bulbs
  3. Tow wiring harness- Do I really need a battery power connection?

HI, about ready to finish my hitch install. Found a compete wiring harness in the box-o-parts with converter. It doesn't have a power line for the battery connection. I'll never use electric brakes, so do I really need it? Thanks
  4. DIY - Tow Hitch Installation

From what I've read, the Maverick and Bronco Sport 'frame' are very similar. I've seen a Bronco Sport hitch from Curt and 1 on Amazon. Any Idea if the mount points are the same or adaptable?

  7. Headache Rack?

HI, anyone find a headache rack to fit the Maverick yet? I'm kinda nervous about really using the bed without one.
  8. Reviewer got 51 MPG from hypermilling the hybrid Maverick

I got my hybrid on Feb. 16, did my 1st fillup last Monday. 555 [email protected] gal = 41.1. My dash indicator was showing 40.8. 80% hilly/twisty backroads, twice in town and 70 mph highway runs. With 180 on the ODO now, showing 44.5. Well see how it averages over 3-4 tank fulls. BTW, I don't poke on...
  9. Interesting read on dealer markup

Hello all, just joined cause I just put a deposit on a hybrid XL. Mine is a pre-order that the the buyer backed out. I paid a premium over msrp, but it was still inside of my budget. Looking forward to taking delivery. I was looking pretty much at anything east of the Mississippi, would have had...
