Thanks. I guess I don't drive long enough to see the battery fully charged at about 12.5 V and have the voltmeter show that. The 14.8V or so charging voltage can't stay at that level can it? I can see the actual battery volts (may start above 12 but quickly drops below that) for a few moments...

Just put one in after dead battery, taking to dealer who 'recharged it". It shows a 14.8 V charging level voltage whenever in Run or Accessories mode. When turned off, as usual it stays in some kind of accessory mode until door is opened, but in this interim period, it show 11.8 or so volts...

Took my old Samsung G7, no longer cell-service connected, loaded Android Auto, connected it to the Maverick WiFi, plugged it in and there was a map! Didn't pair its bluetooth with the vehicle, so my new phone can pair and connect for hands-free. Disabled apps that take power and just leave it...

I received mine this morning - it isn't the same as pictured in Ford Accessories, it doesn't have cutouts for the front anchors, and it doesn't lay flat - too large for distance between wheel wells. Had it delivered to dealer (cheaper and lucky) and Parts agreed it is not the same product even...

Found it. Thanks. If I had experience in that kind of thing, he's shown how to get to the cross-bar, but I don't trust my skills. It might be an upside if I ever run into something. :rolleyes:

Got my Lariat hybrid about a week ago, and today added raised chrome lettering to the tailgate, looks pretty good. Problem now looking at the front, the grill looks very plain jane. I guess there isn't anything simple like a chrome overlay for the headlight crossbar? Looks too complex to take...
