  1. Farm Bureaus offer $500 off Maverick (not applicable if using X-plan)

Thanks for the heads up. I know some dealers (as in my case) are not accepting X-plan on the Maverick. This is a nice backup to have for those situations.
  2. Farm Bureaus offer $500 off Maverick (not applicable if using X-plan)

Saw on the Maverick Reddit forum that many State Farm Bureaus have incentives when buying Fords. Here’s the Reddit post to give credit where credit is due. Membership to a lot of the Farm Bureaus is around $35-$50. In fact, this is the amount for the Texas Farm Bureau (where I’m at). The Texas...
  3. Maverick Extended Warranty - any deals from dealers?

FloodFord….what a name for an Automotive group that offers extended service protection. Thanks for the info!
  4. Maverick Extended Warranty - any deals from dealers?

Thanks for the info! I was worried Geico would increase it over time.
  5. Maverick Extended Warranty - any deals from dealers?

Wanted to add that Geico also offers mechanical breakdown extended warranty on new(er) cars. Considering a new Subaru Forester for the wife and geico quoted me $9 a month for their Mechanical Breakdown insurance. You can also add it on later; as long as the vehicle is less than 15 months old...
  6. San Antonio / Austin

I was not presented, nor did I request the difference between MSRP and invoice. With the way the market is at the moment, MSRP is mostly fair for all parties IMO….mostly. In every other year since I’ve been of driving age, MSRP or above is a joke and a rich-mans/fools game.
  7. San Antonio / Austin

    Thanks for the info!
  8. San Antonio / Austin

Let me/us know what they say. Tell them others on this forum are not happy about that.
  9. San Antonio / Austin

A couple of us have gone with Mac Haik in North Austin. The experience has been great so far. They are very proactive and quick to respond. On the Bronco6G forum, Mac Haik has gotten less than stellar reviews, but my experience has been good so far. My only concerns are, they are not accepting...
  10. Ordering sight unseen and never driven?

This. And to add to it, you could potentially buy the Maverick, drive it around for 6 months to a year and unload it for close to what you paid for it originally. It could take sometime for the conductor chip industry to catch up to the auto industry demand. Even if does, the Maverick is in a...
  11. The Texas Mavericks!

Did Maxwell require any deposits? Did they say anything about Invoice pricing, MSRP pricing, or even “market pricing”? Anything about X-plan? Lastly, are they doing dealer add-on’s (which are often junk)? Sorry for all the questions.
  12. The Texas Mavericks!

Yes, because SUVs inspire strong mall crawling and epic Target runs. Everything else would not be considered “a real grocery getter” and is a “dollar store picker”. 🙄 What in the hell is wrong with people and their stupid egos?
  13. The Texas Mavericks!

I was really intrigued with Chapman myself but it’s going to cost anywhere from $1,200-$1,800 to get the Maverick shipped from PA to Dallas/Austin. I wonder if it’s really worth it.
  14. The Texas Mavericks!

I'm also in Austin. Put in a reservation for Cactus Gray XLT. I went with Mac Haik Ford in Austin. I've heard mixed things about them (based on the Bronco forums), but so far been a great experience. No deposit required at all and selling at MSRP. They are not excepting X-plan at the moment...
