    If you are cutting 2x4’s to make a second bed layer, cut them to 55”….I would suggest chamfering the edges.

    Been working on the maverick XL bed and wanted to let you know that the upper “flex” rails are pre threaded and are M8x1.25. The other anchor points require a tap (M5 drill bit) and use an M6x1.00 bolt.
