Mav XLT headrest is too tall for this driver. Would it be possible to cut, smooth off the sharp ends and reinsert the shortened posts into the seat openings to achieve a lower-positioned headrest? Don't want to screw anything up but do want a more safe and comfortable ride. Thanks for any ideas!

Looking for suggestions/information for a mounted, single step-up to the front of the Maverick truck bed for a short person who loves her 23 Mav Hybrid. If it exists, I hope it's reasonably priced.
