Left my key in the cubby and it locked itself. Or, maybe I did it.(XLT) I called the cops and it took him 5 minutes to unlock the door with a rod. Pretty easy. Too easy?
So, know a locked door is a small impediment.
Went out to dinner with my XLT. About 94 degrees, decent traffic, AC on and got mid 40s mpg for the trip (20 miles). On the way home, about 88 degrees, no AC, lighter traffic, maybe 50mph tops, saw 62 mpg trip consumption.
Went down to 41 mpg average for winter then up to 48.5 mpg and now...
Not too fancy but I like simple. There's another one I was looking at but 3 times the price. I wonder how the Mav handles something like this on the highway?

Just watched an episode. I miss it and I wonder what they would have said about the Maverick. How can they farce it up?
Or, would they launch it off a cliff?
Dealer just called and told me my Maverick has arrived. been waiting a year and a half because I have another Lariat waiting on a lot for the last 7 months with gas tank issues.
I wonder if I can get a good special offer on the one that's been sitting (waiting for a gas tank) since February...
Off today because of that worldwide computer problem.
Our vehicles are getting more and more connected and electronically complex. How long before this affects our ride?
So, my new Lariat is waiting at a lot 20 miles away from me since February for a fix, whatever that might be. None of the ones that made it on to the road have had a leak but I'm waiting "till the fourth quarter" for a solution. Just in case, I ordered another one and just found out it's...
Like new, 7k miles, Ecoboost, 4k tow, white exterior, Black Appearance Package, LUX package, about the only thing it doesn't have is the sunroof. Looks sharp.
I have a new hybrid coming in and the dealer only offered me $31k so $32obo. Want pics? Window sticker?
I'm in the Chicagoland area...
My Maverick is in the body shop and I temporarily have a new Tacoma.
Strangely enough, I miss the dial shifter. The controls are harder to figure out, the engine is noiser and buzzy. The ride is bouncy and it's a gas hog compared to my 2.0 awd 4k tow.
Looking forward to getting my Mav back
I have a 2.0 Lariat I bought off the lot while waiting for my '24 Lariat to come in. Someone hit me in the drivers door and it seemed easy: Drop the 2.0 with the Ford body shop and pick up my hybrid. The hybrid arrived in Chicago in early February but never made it out to me and I was getting...
