Just picked my Maverick up from getting detailed, ceramic coated and paint protection film. They said they found this when they pulled the wheels. What is this?

Is it me or are the colors on the Lariat Lux infotainment screen really washed out looking. I'm coming from an 2018 Audi S4 and thought I set my expectations accordingly but. . . something doesn't seem right. Almost like the contrast is really low. Anyone else notice this? All I want to know...
