  5. Where can I find a hard bed cover top like we had for the Sport Trac?

    I may not be using the right term because all I see are tonneau covers. We had this hard top that was hinged by the cab and could be lifted up and locked down. Having trouble finding it for the Maverick.

  7. Why is the plastic trim on the bed connecting to the cab is curved instead of a 90 degree angle?

    Looking at the frame, it seems to be a near 90 degree angle, so why is the plastic trim curved? It has an effect on designing toppers and and bed racks. Anyone engineers in here??

    I have read that the hybrid can only operate in electric mode when in reverse. Do you expect any issues for reversing short distances when maxed out with the load capacity?

    I just placed my order. Hoping I waited long enough to get Job 2. Is there any way to verify if I am Job 2? It seems odd that the only way to tell is if your truck gets built after February but there is no way of knowing that as a consumer.

    Pretty much my only reasoning for going FX4 would be to get the tow hooks but I am hoping I can be persuaded against opting for the FX4. That being said, has anyone actually used their two hooks? Can a good hitch shackle do the job?
