  1. California Sold: So-Cal - OEM Michelin Primacy all-season tires - Only 30 miles - 225/60R18

Picked up my Lariat and immediately mounted the Nokian tires I've been planning on installing, so these tires are practically brand new and in excellent condition. Barely 30 miles on the odometer when the tires were unmounted. Pick up a spare set for your Lariat for cheap or if you need to...
  2. Maverick vs. Subaru Baja

Parked next to a Baja at a Home Depot. Pretty amusing to see how the Baja makes the Maverick look large! Subaru Baja gets around 22MPG combined according to EPA. Fun to see how far cars have come in fuel economy. But I guess the Ecoboost AWD is around 26 MPG combined rating too, to be fair.
  3. Big Brother vs. Little Brother photos - post yours

Saw that a nice F-450 Platinum Super Duty parked right next to my Maverick. The size difference is amusing.
  4. Best MPG yet...but

It was mostly downhill for about 15 miles. Still, nice to see this much potential MPGs! To be fair, here's the reading going back up hill on the same route round-trip: So I guess the average MPG is like 53ish? Big difference in MPGs and amount of electric miles going uphill versus downhill...
  5. Slight rattling noise behind right air vent dashboard

Received my Maverick last month and have been loving it. Now time to ask about some quirks if anyone knows of a fix. I can hear a slight rattle from what sounds to be behind the rightmost AC vent behind the dashboard somewhere. Anyone else have this issue? I figure it's some loose fitment...
  6. Sport Trac bed extender fits nicely with the Maverick and an X4S tonneau cover...BUT

Rigged up a early 2001-2005 gen Sport Trac bed extender into my XLT Hybrid today. I drilled two holes on the bottom middle hole that exists for existing bed extender mounts as a pilot hole. The Sport Trac (and F-150 bed extender mounting nut), Ford part no. YL3Z-84286A54-AA, utilizes a M10x1.5mm...
  7. Ford Flood/Ford Granger Extended Service Plans no longer eligible in California

So apparently due to some new California law (haven't really seen which law they're specifically referring to), out-of-state extended service plans are no longer eligible in California. Trying to get quotes for both Ford Flood and Ford Granger blocks me out if I select California as the state...
  8. Ineligible for farm bureau credit?

Working on getting my Maverick sale through my dealer and they are claiming that my farm bureau certificate is ineligible. Has anyone run into this problem before and how was this resolved? I have the certificate and everything, but dealer is claiming in SmartVincent that I am ineligible for the...
  9. Fleet XL work truck spotted on UCLA campus

Looks like UCLA is starting to utilize Mavericks for the work fleet. Usually it's the larger Rangers roaming around but seeing the Maverick is nice.
  10. New constraints percentages for MY2023 Mavericks?

Tim Bartz @fordvideoguy mentioned in both his Tuesday evening and Thursday evening videos that the percentages for the various constraints have changed for "this month", presumably for October 2022. The September 2022 constraints list that was posted on this board I have attached here...
  11. September MY2023 orders - you all got your ROVP/COVPs in, right?

Deadline for the ROVP/COVPs for the MY2023 order banks was yesterday, October 5th, by 10pm EST. Everyone pestered their dealers to make sure this got done, I hope!
  12. Who received their Hybrid orders relatively quickly?

With all these threads wondering about whether or not Ford will be able to fulfill our 2023 orders in a timely manner, and lots of horror stories about people's 2022 orders either never being scheduled or taking 14-15 months to reach them, I was wondering who got their Hybrid orders relatively...
  13. What is considered a "good" dealer allocation for the Maverick?

While calling around dealerships, one thing I try to ask is how many Mavericks they get in per month. Usually they seem to state around 10-15, and these are for relatively large dealerships in my area. I know Long McArthur said they have gotten upwards of 60-70 per month as a point of reference...
  14. Dealer recommendations in SoCal for 2023 XLT Hybrid Preorder?

Apologies if this has been beaten to death already, but I've been looking to order a 2023 XLT Hybrid when the order banks supposedly open this month. Called around to a few local dealers and they all seem to be charging dealer markups. Does anyone have any recent experiences placing a...
