One year ago today
After a 7 month wait I took possession of my Maverick. I've only put 7300 miles on it which includes two long road trips of 1200+ miles each. It's the DOG model with the off road & towing packages. Other than the seemingly random times the video screen has either a blue or black background...- !azyep

Ordered 21 September 2021. Received 26 April 2022. XLT package with towing & off road additions. Eco boost & AWD. Dealer has a "we owe" of spray in bed liner & bug guard. Updates to follow. A friend asked how many Smurfs died...- !azyep

6 months & counting: wrote an old school letter
Six month Mark hit & I had heard nothing from the dealer or Ford. I wrote Ford customer service a letter & cc'd the local dealer. Bam! Once the dealer received the letter, the phone was ringing, the texts were chirping & emails arrived. The GM promptly threw the sales rep under the bus &...- !azyep

Maybe a mid-March build with April arrival
Approaching 5 months since I placed an order for XLT, the local dealer says Ford was supposed to provide updates. The dealer says a mid-March build with a late April arrival. A true sunk cost conundrum: believe the dealer and wait two more months or move onto the Subaru Crosstrek and get it...- !azyep
