Let's see what's out there in your area as a 'Maverick Alternative' if you have to have a crew cab truck before the Mav is delivered, but want to stay on your Maverick budget. I'm using Autotrader, but of course any place you can buy a used truck works fine. I'm going to match mine up with a few...
Great news! My local Carmax has two good-looking Mavericks for sale, an XL AWD and a Lariat AWD.
The not so good news?
Tax and all, the pair is going to set you back about $88,000
$39,700 for the XL.
$48,300 for the Lariat.
The Ford dealers in the area mark them up even more.

Don't know how feasible it is to enforce these policies, but the intent is there.
At some point, automakers are going to sh*tcan these dealers, for good or bad.
Thought I would start a new thread for all us Granger folks so we can post pictures when that glorious day finally comes and we pick up our $3k off Mavs!

Someone put up a crowd-sourced website tracking dealer markups at https://markups.org/. Fully searchable. Good way to shine a light on dealers that have done right by you as a customer.

Are we all waiting on an ecosport with a truck bed? 🙃
Sure, sure, it's built on the same platform as the Escape/Bronco, it's just priced way cheaper than the other vehicles that share the platform. No problems there, right?
You look at the 20k car...
Always reminds me of driving a go-kart powered by a Briggs & Stratton at age 7 while my parents played putt putt golf and knocked back a couple brewskis in solo cups from the concession...
We got a little snow down here in East Tennessee on Monday, which was the same day I had scheduled a test drive for a carbonized gray XL hybrid Mav. I have a 2.0 XL on order in the same color and base model specs, but I still wanted to go check out the color and trim package in person, as I had...
I ordered a Maverick way back when and decided to cancel because my vehicle at the time was in dire straits and I needed to move on.
Now, I'm in a 2022 Nissan Frontier, but can't say I'm happy with the price or the 20mpg average.
Put in an order on the Maverick XL like I wanted to all along...
