Oddly enough, same blue truck from the rear, the wheels look "tucked". Ford must have really exaggerated the taper/wedge from front to back, assuming track widths are same front to rear.
I'd think the front could benefit in terms of aero from an Escape wheel which is +50 offset.
The offset is only 2.5mm less than stock (+35 vs +37.5), I take it you simply haven't seen this angle of a stock Maverick..
Here's a snip from a Tim Bartz video
Of course the 235 Wildpeaks are 10mm wider than the 225 Scorpions pictured in above snip, and the Alphas are .5" wider. So, in...
My best guess, given that you are priority code 02, is that you were previously selected for preview when Ford had all of the parts to build it. Unfortunately, you did not get scheduled (which could be any number of reasons, not just parts availability) but now a supply constraint has come up...
They said paint, no mention of stick on stuff or extra badges.
The paint work on everything looks great, I think the velocity blue accents would have looked phenomenal on a velocity blue Maverick. I'm not crazy about it on black. The headlights are also beautiful but that strip in there looks...
What does the other side of the offer look like? If I get anything from Ford I'll definitely open it anyway, but if the wife gets the mail I'll need to make sure she doesn't confuse it for junk mail :ROFLMAO:
Stack that with the savings you got from ordering at Granger and I'd say you made out pretty good!
Have you received these before? I'm a Ford customer but I never seem to get these offers. Read about them all the time on F150 forum, must just be luck of the draw.
Looks great, I was curious how the fender emblems would work out. I'd assume it was a little more difficult to remove the excess just considering the texture of the vent/emblem that's beyond the chrome XLT portion, or did you tape that off entirely around the "XLT" letters?
