So are you saying there is a cover like the Cig Lighter Trim UNDERNEATH? (Behind the Cig Lighter)
I have the Lariat. I have a blue light that goes on underneath behind the Cig Lighter.
Don't know if that helps.
The way to read it:
Gas Pump = engine
Blue lettering = eCVT (eMotor Motor/Generator).
So the picture is showing 2 different systems working:
Circle w/Line Gas Pump & All Electric means eMotor/Motor Generator is moving the vehicle, engine OFF.
Gas Pump & Electric means hybrid system working...
Love my First Edition Hybrid.
So far, so good ..... No real issues outside of the morning shutter at idle 2 weeks ago that lasted 3-4 days, but has not happened since.
He was hurtin' on his commission. When Ford or the dealer group sends you a follow up survey, you should mention it.
My purchase experience (read on if interested):
I had the dealer finance refund me for a ESP and Maint Care ($3500 total). The Sales Mgr asked me the REAL reason instead of...
Not to make fun, I just thought it funny how you said it.
A pic (no matter the exposure) would prove helpful for the group since the gauge descriptions in the Owner's Manual are not quite clear enough since all, if not most, are describing Gas or Hybrid and not XL/XLT/Lariat trim levels, like...
Hmmmm, you may have to go to the dealer since it appears Fuel Pump Reset looks like it is used whenever there is a need for fuel shutoff (e.g. some accidents, or rollover).
Here is another post regarding the Fuel Pump Reset and why the symbol is there...
Heavy at 90 lbs for aluminum per website.
Agreed, unless you plan to leave it, it is very inconvenient to remove and reinstall every time you want to use the bed for a tall load.

No issues.
The remote start and unlock/lock buttons should be on Home page. Just make sure you Activate your Maverick in the app (double check VIN). Once done, those buttons should appear along with a photo of your Maverick.
Mine took 20 days in production then another 7 days in post production (whatever that meant at the time), then it went to Expected Delivery (which is now Shipped).
All that for Lariat Hybrid FE. I believe the 7 days was to get the FE package installed.
Nope, no in the same boat, BUT
When did you order?
Did the dealer stipulate that the Maverick price would depend on you trading in the Prius?
Best pricing for trade in: Driveway.com or CarMax (though Carvana is just a smidge below CarMax)
I have a Prius V and had a Sonata PHEV. I waited 8...
WOW, not bad .... $1399 for aluminum DiamondBack SE for the Maverick. The videoes make it look indestructible. If I was hauling as much as what's in the video, I would get one, but they are expensive.
Thanks for the share.
Gotta say, for all of us who ordered and those who HAVE the Maverick, this article is not a surprise (or at least it does not come as a surprise). We all have experienced (& future owners too) the love for this truck with a bit of the hateful wait (anywhere from 7-10 mos).
Those who ordered...
Let's see ..... Hyundai makes the Kona (fire and recalls) and the Santa Cruz. Both initially are/were great ideas.
But they appear impractical: both lack storage/hauling (yeah, so the SC has the hidden bed compartment, woo-hoo), both are expensive, and Hyundai designed it for Hyundai and NOT...
Interesting. The way the article reads (to me), it sounds like Reza wanted to experiment towing a realllll heavy load since he was on the Overload Facebook page. But yeah, I agree, I feel sorry for the person who ends up with it since they will not know.
