Iāve had the black ones too for almost 2 years in my ā24 XLT. They are not noticeably hotter than the rest of the interior here in Florida. And once the AC cranks full bore everything cools off quickly. They donāt make you gross slimy sweaty. Great covers.
TuxMats here for both my Mavs. Had them for > a year. 2 thumbs up. Easy to in/out, easy clean. Hose, scrub, a little Dawn, 45mn in the sun to dry, look like new again. Highly recommend.
My wife loves the ā24 Mav I bought for her. I secretly hoped to time share it with her but she soon took over sole ownership of āher truck.ā So, āfine,ā says I. And proceeded to buy one of my own.
Iāve never had either one of my ā24 XLTs (without keypads) totally and inadvertently lock me out with the keys inside. But I have unknowingly locked the driverās door with the bottom edge of my hand while pulling the door opening lever. Thankfully, as Master Blaster alluded, the other doors...
I was in the same dilemma, facing the high price of tri-folds and toying with the idea of getting a soft cover because of the cost. I didnāt want to lose the bed space or deal with the uninstall/reinstall turmoil of one that didnāt flip up. I landed on the Rough Country for ~$750. Nice unit...
Got the mud flaps for both my Mavs. Awesome addition: good looking AND functional since we live in the country. Also got the door handle organizers so my bride has a place to keep her lipstick. Very important upgrade! And the console organizer has kept my stuff out of the seat and floorboards...
Not a fan. Upon entry, ignition, door shut, and seat belt, stabbing off that annoyance is part of my pre-departure checklist. Considering the jumper that keeps it off.
We ordered the Atlas Blue and really liked the color. My sweetie drives it. But I gotta say that Got Pepper Red really got my attention. So thatās my jam now!
We ordered my bride a MY24 XLT last year. I liked driving it so much (when she let me), I found one for myself. Just picked it up. Now we have his and hers mavericks to go with our his & hers ponies.
It isnāt the engine. Itās the particulate filter they added to the exhaust system. The effect is lower HP and torque. Reporting is has to be coupled with lower sulfur (higher octane) fuel. So you get the double whammy of higher fuel costs and more of it required. You think government regulation...
