There MIGHT be a Shadow Black XL EB AWD 4K for sale if it is ever built. Bought a '23 Taco this morning for MSRP. Thanks for NOTHING Galaxy Ford Smithville TN. I will keep the order open and purchase the Maverick and then sell it just to keep them from selling at a HUGE mark-up.
I simply will not:
1. Get back in line like a good little commie. I will speak with my feet and wallet.
2. Accept that a price increase is somehow MY fault.
3. Deal with a company that either will not or can not fulfill its promises to the customer.
No effing way. I will NOT be ordering a '24. At this point, I plan to sell the Maverick as soon as i take possession. Ford is not a company I want to do business with after this. Galaxy Ford of Smithville TN is clueless and Murfreesboro Ford would not order a Maverick without $3000 of add-ons...
The issue is dealers did NOT communicate these numbers to us. They were glad to take our XL orders, knowing that they wouldn't get built. Now we are being told to upgrade to XLT and MAYBE our truck will be built. In other words, pay more and we MIGHT build your truck. Classic Bait and Switch.
This is it. Today is the day. If I don't get scheduled, and with an XL it doesn't look good, I'm buying elsewhere. Galaxy Ford in Smithville Tennessee says they have NOTHING to do with priority, and has "plenty" of allocations, and basically if I don't like it, come get my deposit.
I will keep...
The problem is WHY are we being forced to make these decisions. Ford contracted with us to make a truck the way we ordered it. Mine has been CLEAN UNSCHEDULED since January? They only constraint I see is that it is an XL.
Galaxy Ford of Smithville TN. Dealer just told me they have NOTHING to do with making priority code a 10. Said it was ALL on Ford. Been "clean, unscheduled" since January. Took mud flaps off in December. Guess they don't want to sell an XL. Nice bait and switch.
I ordered the 4K tow package. It is my understanding that this is not part of the trailer hitch constraint. Am I correct, or is this holding up my XL EB AWD?
I don't see how they can miss the mark on an EB. Production may take until October, but more than enough to fill orders. Hybrids won't get built, but we should be okay.
