The dealer had another Maverick with the controller and was able to compare mine to it. They definitely confirmed that mine has a problem. They were using their simulator. I also have an analyzer which confirmed the problem independently. As of today, no solution :(

Update - No solution yet, dealer has had the truck for 6 days with no progress. They have been going back and forth with Ford, still no fix. Instrument cluster was reprogrammed to no avail. I had to take the truck back today, but I need this to be corrected.

I was just informed from Ford that the instrument cluster needs to be reprogrammed, which is what I suspected. I will follow up after my appointment on the 31st.

I am having the same problem. I have an instrument to analyze the trailer connections and have verified the controller is applying current and it can be varied by the gain buttons, just no menu, so trailer brake type cannot be set, and there is no visual indication of the gain setting. The...
