You'll have to put your old system back in, re-enable FordPass, then put the Sync 4 back in. You can't enable it with Sync 4 but it will continue to work if enabled. Just don't Master Reset the Sync 4.

Yes you won’t have to plug it in to use CarPlay anymore. The warranty isn’t impacted by this swap unless it’s a part directly related to the swap. For example if your seat motor stops working they’ll still fix it, if your audio stops working they won’t since you’ve replaced the original parts.

Harnesses are finally in and 1 more revision to the bracket and I'm hoping to have them shipping by the end of this week! Harness works with both upgrades to 8" sync 4, 12" sync 4, and the 13.2" escape screen. Bracket is only for the 12" transit screen.

Sweet, I will post when the bracket is available (hopefully this week), and harnesses are about a month out. It just takes a while to get the connectors to build them in bulk. It's way too expensive and time consuming to build them with the pigtails like people have been doing.
