  1. SSM 53801: 2022-2025 Maverick Hybrid 12V Battery Drain Issue Update Fix Released!

I fully charged it at the time of the software update a few weeks ago through the BCM. I did not have battery saver messages from the time I had the update applied and fully charged until the last few days. The battery saver message now occurred again < 12 hours after I last drove it.
  2. SSM 53801: 2022-2025 Maverick Hybrid 12V Battery Drain Issue Update Fix Released!

Hi, I was among the first to get the SSM update on my '22, and I had an existing AGM. It is not a silver bullet. I just got another battery saver message 12 hours after driving it last. It may not be worth fighting for the update if Ford won't give it to you for free. It's not a universal fix.
  3. SSM 53801: 2022-2025 Maverick Hybrid 12V Battery Drain Issue Update Fix Released!

For those outside of warranty period, call the Ford Corporate number and open a case. They will reimburse you or the dealership to perform the software update. It was a pain in the neck, but worthwhile if indeed this fixes the 12v draw. My dealership did not have any problem applying the update...
  4. DIY Forscan enabled Cruise control XL models only

Maverick2022XL, thanks for the excellent thread and write-up. If the above is true, perhaps update the first page? I believe the fourth post has the opposite information (assuming you mean CP360 implies lane keep and w/o CP360 implies w/o lane keep:
  5. Headlight issues (ODB: B1533-08, SSM 51299, 50869, 51058)

I updated the top post because the issue is now confirmed to be impacting 2021-2022 Ford F-150s (SSM 51058). If someone has the content of the SSM I will post here.
  6. Headlight issues (ODB: B1533-08, SSM 51299, 50869, 51058)

Oh my, you're not kidding! I'll modify the original post. Looks like auto-high beam things are features not bugs and the only confirmed problem is the headlights staying on when the truck in turned off. Thanks!
  7. Headlight issues (ODB: B1533-08, SSM 51299, 50869, 51058)

The auto-high beams should go on/off depending if the sensor detects headlights or break lights ahead. It should be without regard to speed. It can be toggled on/off in the instrument cluster. It can also be overridden with manual use of the high-beam stalk. In my case, I have auto-high beams...
  8. Headlight issues (ODB: B1533-08, SSM 51299, 50869, 51058)

I'm having intermittent headlight issues. Dealer says that SSM 50869 applies to Mav owners, which is a service message that I found online that applies to similar problems with Mach-E vehicles that sometimes give the same ODB code. Problems: Headlights sometimes stay on for several minutes...
