I tested the light using the battery and it worked.

Having some problems here. I tried doing this on the driver side marker light. Connected and nothing happens. I know its not the light as I tested it at the battery and works. I am using one of those T Tap connectors. Could that be the problem ? Any other way to connect without cutting and...

Thanks for the reply. I have an XLT model and was using the wiring suggestion from page 6. I will try the side marker one.

I used the middle blue wire.

***update. I had this fixed at local shop for 1/3 the cost of the dealership !! Truck runs great and 0 alerts. Thanks for all the help on this thread

This has been a great thread to follow so I ordered a strip and just tried it out. I used the blue wire on the driver side DRLs - and a quick splicer. Oddly enough after connecting it all the light strip did NOT light up and also noticed that the DRLs did not come on. Anyone have this problem...
