EB costs $1,100 more to start. $4,000 more in gas over 10 year life. $2,500 less because it won't need a battery but say $1,000 more in maintence of the turbo and transmission. That means the hybrid saves you $3,600 over the life.
That said, the original question was about logevity. The...
The thing I'm worried that I'm going to miss the most from my Mazda once my Maverick arrives is fact that the screen is mounted so high you barely need to take your eye off the road.
It takes a couple of weeks but everyone I know who uses the Mazda dial interface loves it after they get used to...
I too am not worried about someone breaking in. It'll be in the garage most nights. For the few nights where it's outside when we travel, I'm guessing most of the time, we'll empty it. If we do leave stuff in it overnight in a hotel parking lot, the fact that you can't see inside should bring...
This doesn't surprise me. My production date got pushed back from the week of 12/20 to the week of 1/3 so there is some stuff already scheduled for January at this point. It wouldn't surprise me if other delays have most of January's production schedule already allocated to those that were delayed.

Agree, a huge downside to leasing is that you have to either remove your after-market stuff or give up their value. That said, I got full credit for my Honda dealer-installed options when I leased so I bet you can include in your lease any of the Ford-dealer installed upgrades. Can anyone...
Keep in mind, used car values are much higher than normal right now due to COVID and the ensuing chip shortage. You cannot expect that much of a delta in the future. That said, I think the Maverick is intentionally underpriced out of the gate to drive interest and it will go up a lot more in...
At the end of your lease, you will get an inspection done by the leaseholder who will give you a quote for how much it would cost you to return the car if anything. Once you have this, take the car to CarMax and ask them how much you would owe (or receive) if they were to buy out the lease...
I too am thinking about leasing mostly because of the worry that all-electric will be the best option in a few years. In theory, they should become less expensive and more reliable than gas-powered vehicles. Rapid charging batteries will also be more common such that recharging on the road...
