I treat my 2023 hybrid XLT like a plug in hybrid. I bought a battery tender 800 ma mounted it under the hood with zip ties and plug in every couple of days, seems to work.
Looking for a recommendation for an on board battery charger. I see several on Amazon but not sure best output 800,1000 ma or what. They are under $50 cdn and I know it makes the Mav a plug-in hybrid but is cheaper than replacing the battery.
23 XLT hybrid , I charged 12 volt battery with trickle charger, turned off wifi, auto updates and reset battery monitor system (bms). Interior lights have worked for several days, hopefully fixed problem.
I feel this is a safety issue as the bright dash lights are distracting at night. The dim climate control. light cause me to look away from the road and this could be dangerous.
Can the brightness of the climate control panel be turned up or down without affecting the dash lights. I have to turn up the dash lights really high to see the defroster control etc.
