  1. 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid Fuel Efficiency (Real World MPG) Test by TFL

It's a subcompact car with a 4.5 ft. uncovered trunk. I have a 2024 XLT Hybrid, gets 35-37 mpg, sounds like the front end will fall out. Cheap plastic and finishes, a Corian dash board inset. And why are the door handles not full length?
  2. Ecoboost or Hybrid?

In the city or the highway you can't maintain the speedlimit without exceeding 10% power, then it switches to gas. Then you have to coast to turn the electric back on, then go over 10% to gas...nevermind the electric doesnt kick in over 70mph....Kinda useless.
  3. Ecoboost or Hybrid?

Really don't see the justification for the added expense of the Hybrid. I get in the mid 30s for the MPG. The hybrid cannot maintain speed in hybrid mode and switches to gas at the 10% mark on the weird power gauge. I drove 97 miles in a trip and 7 miles were hybrid...I got better mileage in a...
  4. `Infinity Powered Sub

Turns out it was a bad unit from Crutchfield...
  5. `Infinity Powered Sub

Well I would imagine that if there was electrical activity the speaker would make some noise. I am literally wired to the 2x wires at the speaker. This should be enough to drive the powered amp. It does power on when the audio is turned on and powers off when the radio is off and the car...
  6. `Infinity Powered Sub

Shorted the wires and the sound stopped, so I'm sure they're wired correctly
  7. `Infinity Powered Sub

It is wired literally at the rear speaker. Not sure how the volume would have enough amplitude to drive the powered amp.
  8. `Infinity Powered Sub

I recently ordered an Infinity powered sub from Crutchfield. I wired it to the rear speaker and power from the battery under the seat. It it set to sense audio and powers up when the radio is on. No audio...a second unit does the same thing. I reversed polarity of the speaker and tried all the...
  9. Dial Shifter

I just received a 2024 Hybrid XLT. Pretty disappointed so far, but it's a company car/truck. Being that I am 6'2 and move my legs, in doing so, I have hit the rotary dial at least 4 times while in cruise control knocking it into neutral or reverse. I have read that someone installed an F-150...
