That’s what I’m questioning them too. But again it doesn’t make sense if they knowing and letting me drive off the lot which they risk for fine? Or they just assume customer will work with them to sort this out? And trying to lock in a deal before price drop further in July when recall available.
For my case at my delivery day, we really goes through all these feature and test drive it. But no system/mechanism that stopped him have me taking delivery home. Until they trying to report sale to ford
Same for me, everything goes through all the paper work I'd even drive it back home with no "blocking". I just don't see how they can missed it at the beginning.
They did offer loaner vehicle until the recall to be done in July, and I asked some extra service credit, but it's just feels bad.
