I have to tug lightly at the bottom rubber seal of my rear doors to release a cuo or two of trapped rain water. The front isn't as bad, but there is water in the doors. Maybe the door seals cover the drain holes? I'd hate to see my doors rusted out at the bottom in 2 years.
I use the free ford app to start my hybrid 2.5 xl and lock/unlock doors. Its free, but you need a smart phone for the app, unlike using a fob alone with the pricey auto start option.
