  1. Beware: Heat Exchanger not covered under warranty

The heat exchanger is covered under warranty. I just had mine replaced, no questions asked. Wasn't even the dealer I purchased the vehicle from.
  2. Hybrid heat exchanger replacement (covered by warranty)

Check engine light appeared in January. Problem diagnosis: Faulty heat exchanger. Common Ford problem apparently. Here are the photos of the replacement unit and where they cut the exhaust and clamped new unit.
  3. Great fuel economy aside, I'm pretty satisfied with the hybrid powertrain.

I was worried about owning a buzzkill CVT, but this E-CVT with the hybrid is slick. Ownd mine since June 2022, 20,000 KM. Towed this for about 5000 KM. 1440lb trailer, 5100lb combined. Average about 26mpg while towing. The E-CVT and hybrid system keep things in the sweet spot. No annoying gear...
  4. 2022 Maverick Hybrid XL 17,000 KM (10,500 M) review

1980 Glendale Scooter 414. 14 feet tongue to bumper. 1440 lbs. Leaves about 900 lbs to play with. Secondary hwys are comfortable. Anything above 100 kph gets squirrely. I'll be putting a simple anti-sway kit on this year. Otherwise, the Maverick Hybrid towed this thing around about 5000 km last...
  5. 2022 Maverick Hybrid XL 17,000 KM (10,500 M) review

Zero issues. Came from 2015 F150 3.5 Ecoboost Supercab. Miss it Zero. This thing is brilliant. It's worth the wait (not the markup)
  6. Hybrid towing 1860 lb vintage camper

I'm the OP. The trailer is actually 1440lbs according to the CAT scale. As far as the frontage area, Fords own advertising seems to disregard this. I put about 5000k towing this trailer with out a hiccup.
  7. Observed MPG reduction in cold weather.

Same here. In comfortable weather averaging 40mpg, colder weather drops to 34-32mpg. It still makes me smile when comparing it to my 2015 3.5 ecoboost F150 lol.
  8. Real World Travel Trailer Towing experience wanted.

I have a 1500lb 1980 travel trailer, weighed everything at a cat scale. Tongue weight approximately 180 lbs. Frontal area square footage well beyond recommendations. Pulls great. Recently did a 320 mile trip at approximately 55 mph and averaged over 25 mpg with the hybrid.
  9. Trailer frontal area considerations

According to Ford, without tow package, the frontal aera is limited to 20 sq. ft. With tow package, it's 40 sq. ft. Some of the promotional material seems to violate this. I have an XL Hybrid with a 10 ft 1800 lb travel trailer. I'm driving myself crazy wondering if I'm going to do damage to...
  10. Hybrid towing 1860 lb vintage camper

XL hybrid with factory hitch. 7 to 4 pin connector. 1860 lb trailer. Just girlfriend and I, we pack light. Am I pushing it? Personally, I think not. Just towed it home.
  11. Factory Tires Sizes & Wheels Specs For 2022 Maverick: Width, Offset, Bolt Pattern, Center Bore, Thread Size, Weight

Don't know why I can't post in aftermarket wheels, but here it is... RTX Concord 17X7.5 38 offset with factory XL/XLT tires on XL Hybrid. Traded in a 2015 F-150 XLT Supercab 4X4 3.5 Ecoboost. Lots to like here.
