Yes I took off the bar part of the grill with just slightly pulling on the entire front grill and removing those bolts.
I will probably replace the lamin-x in the future when I get the chance with something thinner. It’s so thick that it creates a prism effect on the headlight beam at night.
Made an update on the film to better match the orange color of the side markers.

Yeah I asked customer service if I can choose different colors. Next time if I have to redo I would do tint on headlights and then both ambers on turn and side markers so the orange match.
only has the scattered issue when it was still wet. For sure when it’s not completely dark outside yet...
I didn't notice a huge reduction at all. I have used them in the past. I do notice in reduction if the headlight is not LED and more of the halogen type.
I thought about using vinyl but the cutting will be tough unless I remove most of the front grill. To remove that plastic trim is a lot of work. The Lamin-x was precut and at the same time thick enough to act as PPF at the same time.
I searched as well for more of the gold yellow color but had...
Yeah after the install they looked purple and I didn't know if that is the way to go cause I've used the Air Vinyl films from Amazon before as well. Those has a purple hue too.
Ordered and installed a Lamin-X kit for the headlight. Wanted to have a slight smoke look to it but nothing drastic.

Curious. Did the bed extender come with a metal plate hardware to be installed inside the bed frame? Do you have links to the screws and nuts you used. Thanks! I’m on the same boat with having x4s and trying to find a bed extender that would fit.
Had this same issue and adjusting the instrument light (switches by the headlight switch) to lowest and brightest back and forth seems to have fixed the issue.
Make sure the touchscreen display brightness is on the highest setting.
Also note that if you have auto day/night on for the...
Thanks for the quick reply. I’ll try to join the discord. I have a hybrid XLT with co pilot 360 and for sure no ACC.
would you also mind linking the file to print the angle bracket you have? Much appreciated!
do you know if this works on hybrid models? Do you mind posting pics of your comma mounted and the file for the 3D printed bracket? That would be greatly appreciated!!!
