There’s a few different updates the dealer can run on your vehicle. They use letter like PCM and TSB among others to identify them.

I too got the update from the dealer. So far I haven’t noticed the surging while stopped, and haven’t noticed the abrupt stopping like I had before. But I can say when you hit the brakes initially, you’ll feel it more than you use to.
