I agree the instructions are poor. I've ask at the dealership they don't know and care even less. If all you are really doing is charging the battery then if you have a charge line from the RV to the truck starting the truck shouldn't be necessary. Plus what is the 15 minute wait all about?

Kind of stupid to build a vehicle and boast about how economical it is, but it will wear out prematurely if you drive it in economic mode. Brilliant!

I'm not going to doubt you, but where did you get your information? Are you a Ford employee? The instructions state run for 30 minutes or drive it. If over heating the transmission is a reason then Ford should include it in the manuals instructions for sure. I would say that's a pretty major...

I think Ford's tow instructions are poor. The stop every six hours or less to charge your battery. If charging the battery is the only reason, it shouldn't be necessary if you have a battery charge line between the truck and the RV. I do, and the battery stays charged, which should be addressed...

I would hope the lights and plug will still be accessible. I would think you will just have to open, swing out the box, to use the light or plug. I would have preferred the passenger side just be further from traffic if parked on the street
