My Dad always said ā you give them yours and buy thereāsā. I bought the Maverick and the end of Covid, and the chip shortage. Someone totaled my Tundra, and after weeks of looking I found a Maverick that we could afford. Loved it, but it wasnāt what I really wanted.
As far as a better deal...
Traded my 24 Ecoboost today, found a Ranger at a good deal, or at least it appeared to be. I really loved the Maverick, but, it was just to good to pass up.
Mine was doing the same thing, tried mid- grade gas, then went to premium. No change. Had to run an errand about a hour from home, drove it hard on interstate both ways. Seems to have solved the noise at low speeds, for now.
I believe Iāve read all the posts about replacing my speakers, watched all the videos I could find. My XLT has the base radio, which Iām very disappointed in. My question is, is it worth the effort and expense to replace front, and rear speakers?
I have the dealer installed tri- fold hard cover, it leaks in the front corners, but not bad. Our shop Forman had a F 250, with same type cover and it leaks like mine does.
