Nope! It's just the only affordable fuel efficient option for a "truck". A tiny bed is almost better than no bed at all. I had to haul insulation out to my son's house site and I had to make two 20 minute trips because I didn't want to stuff any in the back seat. It's just stupid that there...
When I bought my Maverick, I told the dealer that I wish they made a regular cab with a six foot bed instead of a tiny bed with a useless backseat. He said I could fit five people without any problems. I said, I don't know 5 people without any problems. I have 2 sons that are carpenters that are...
Yes, I am installing a hitch. I ordered a maverick with the hitch receiver, but I got impatient and bought one that became available. The only thing missing from the one I have on order is the hitch receiver. I still haven't received a build date. My daughter in-law's parents are interested in...
I'm comfortable taking this on with the correct information. I'm wondering why they don't make this harness a straight plug and play. Please let me know if I have this straight.
It would be nice if they would show the actual wiring. Is it possible to use the 12V pigtail to connect to the hitch harness power wire? The hitch harness has one wire and the pigtail has two. What do you do with the extra wire?
Their harness is specific to the Maverick. E-trailer tech support claims that wiring to the 12V AC outlet could cause electrical issues and even be dangerous. Perhaps they are just covering their ass?
Hi folks,
Has anyone used the 12volt flex bed wire to power a 4 pin trailer light harness instead of running a wire all the way to the hybrid battery? It seems to make sense to me but I can’t find any instructions other than running the wire to the battery
Thank you for posting, this is exactly what I was hoping to find out. I don’t want a rack that sits a foot above the cab. Can you tell me how wide the spread is between your bars?
I put the smartliners in yesterday and yes they do fit the 2024. They look great and the coverage seems adequate. We’re having a little bit of early mud season here in Maine, so it shouldn’t take long to find out how they perform. Thanks for all your input.
I think I’m going to go with the smart liners. They can’t confirm the fit for the 2024 hybrid. Does anyone know if there is a difference between the 2023 & 2024 models?
Hi folks, I just picked up a xl hybrid yesterday and one of the first things I want to add are floor liners. I’m in and out of my vehicles with mud and gravel on a daily basis. I’m wondering which ones are a favorite.
I doubt that I’ll have regrets over the color, which is the only real difference. The dealer does Line-X bed liner in house and they might even have it done before I get there tomorrow. Adding the hitch doesn’t look like brain surgery. I think as long as I like the way it drives and I can work...
