Waxoyl worked well for me when I lived in New England.
There are other products which are probably as good ?
Whoever does the coatings needs to get in to ALL the nooks and crannies under there.
I would NOT recommend the less expensive motor oil applications.
I would agree with "No,No,No" and ad never, ever.
If you run into anything solid, such as a curb ? I think you are likely to total your brand new Maverick right there.
I bought our 2023 XLT FWD 2.0 Eco right off the transport truck just before Halloween .
Carbonized gray with the Lux and co-Pilot 360. I've added Line-X Premium, Rough Country bed mat and tr-fold tonneau cover, AVS deflector and Ford mud flaps.
I'm kind of torn.
The Maverick dial shift is less positive for me to operate. But, opens up the space around the cup holders and in front of them.
The shifter in our 2015 Ford Edge, owned since new, is solid and positive but takes up a fair amount of real estate on the console.
And, things...
I got to try out the collision alert on a recent trip through Atlanta's normally insane traffic.
It worked VERY well. Only once, as required, fortunately.
Stuff all seems to work very well. Loads of information to process.
I'm enjoying playing with the buttons as well as driving the new truck.
Thanks for asking.
My 2015 Ford Edge has a weird criss-cross wiper arrangement.
The blades would collide sometimes and I thought they were going to tear themselves off the car.
The Ford dealer tried shorter blades but that didn't work any better.
The solution was the stock size, most expensive Rain-X blades from...
Good price ? on the Line-X Premium ( I paid about $ 100 more in Florida)
If it is going to be parked out in the sun I would definitely go with the Line-X Premium.
One of Rough Country's $ 99.95 heavy rubber bed mats wouldn't be a bad choice for additional protection against cargo related dings...
I had to get more fasteners, from Lowes in my case, due to my losing some by dropping them out of reach in to the engine compartment. My fumble fingers.
Once I got more fasteners installation was problem free.
I did get more clear bumpers, different shape, at Lowes as I was concerned the four...
I got quoted $ 1000 by the dealer for their spray in liner.
I went with Line-X Premium, standard black for $ 800 including Florida sales tax.
I'm happy with it.
Mine came from Rough Country.
It is mounted as shown in their picture, upside down versus what you guys have.
I don't see why it wouldn't work with other brands, but, who knows ?
Tailgate Assist | Ford Maverick 2WD/4WD (2022-2024) | Rough Country
Too bad it's not like the old pre-computer days of American iron.
Pull out the old stock 6 or low HP family cruiser V8.
Throw in whatever monster V8 appeals in new motor mounts, add new pipes, whatever transmission is desired as well as a heavier duty rear end and you have most of what you...
The factory "pack" of bumpers is a bit deficient as delivered.
I bought some extra 3M clear bumpers at Lowes for just under $ 5.
A little different shape but I think the hood and fenders are properly protected now.
Overall, I think the AVS deflector will do a better job than the stick ons.
I owned a couple pick-ups with the sliding rear window. Never used them.
My 2015 Ford Edge came with the Moonroof.
We open up the inside panel at night or on rainy days sometimes.
Not much use really and now the sunroof makes noise at about 65 mph.
A plastic roof panel next to the sunroof...
