My 2023 XLT 2.0 is 6 months old with just over 5 K on the clock.
Some intermittent rattling/vibration which I assume might be the windshield thing.
Haven't really chased it yet.
My 2015 Edge has a moonroof.
Never again.
A plastic panel next to it went "missing" somewhere.
$300 wholesale because the parts guy gave me a deal.
At 65 mph the sunroof now starts making noise and will likely get worse ?
Plus, we never use the darn thing.
After experiencing some very twisty roads near Franklin, NC last December the thought of stiffening up the handling on my 2023 XLT crossed my mind.
But, I am not sure the expense is worth it.
Curved roads down here in central Florida are more the exception than the rule.
My 2023 Maverick XLT FWD 2.0 Eco got 30.8-31.0 on a couple highway road trips at similar speeds.
Around town runs between 22.0 and 24.8.
Better than anything else I've owned without the complexity of the hybrids.
I have used these type locking lug nuts on the last several vehicles I have owned.
They work perfectly and I have never lost a wheel that had them on them.
McGard is the usual supplier I have seen.
I have the Line-X sprayed in liner in my 2023 XLT.
I added the Rough Country bed mat, which fits fine, for additional protection.
My "Belt and Suspenders" approach.
I had one of the Harbor Freight version bed extenders for a long time, never really used it and gave it away a few years ago.
BUT, for a really short bed like a Maverick I could see where it could be used.
BUT, the hitch socket is normally the only contact point and, depending on the slop, will...
Time for a remodel.
Counter tops at least.
Quartz is a good choice. Low maintenance and won't stain, unlike natural stone.
Concrete can make a surprisingly nice top if done right.
Don't screw around trying to fix someone else's mistake, at least in this case.
I had Line-X Premium done and then added a Rough Country bed mat on top of that.
It is a very rugged mat and fits well.

I've dealt with Gator. The work done was fine, not cheap.
No ride services offered. That was kind of a pain.
Bought my Maverick from Elder. Service on the sale was excellent.
I don't have enough miles racked up yet for service. I do have the recall I need to contact them about.
I've had good...
My Ford 2015 SEL Edge has the moonroof.
We never open the glass but open the inside shade at night or on dreary days sometime.
Downside is a high pitch vibration noise that is coming from somewhere in the front of it at speeds above 65 mph.
A plastic trim panel mounted next to the sunroof went...
My recall notice for my 2023 XLT 2.0 Eco showed up in Saturday's mail.
I'll check in with the dealer Monday and see what the story is on the recall "fix".
I doubt backing up with a snow plow is any better than going forward with a front mounted plow.
The weight of the snow is bad enough but hitting any object hidden by the snow is going to cause the shock to be transmitted directly into the truck's sheet steel chassis.
Damage, possibly...
