FWIW, I did my own spray-on/roll-on bed liner and got some spots on my rear fenders (from me leaning on the truck). I was able to get all my spots (large and small) off with bug and tar remover. However, I did this within a day or two of applying the liner.

I think the ICE will turn on shortly after putting the AC on and turning the fan all the way up. No 100% sure this will work, but it has worked for me on my Maverick and on my other hybrids.
