Iāve been using it for about a month. It dings you for any phone usage, hands free or otherwise and harsh braking. I had to do a hard brake for a cat that ran out in front of me and got dinged.
Thats possible, especially in AZ, but other than leaving the bed cover open most of the time I canāt think of any other solution.
Off topic a bit, I lived in Port Angeles for a few years and took the ferry over to Victoria a few times a year. Beautiful city
No idea what caused it, probably heat, but ford hasnāt offered any explanation, Iām just glad theyāre replacing them. FYI, I live in Northern AZ, not nearly as hot as the Phoenix area.
I moved a queen on mine. I have a hard bed cover so I laid it on that and ran a tie down lengthwise attached to the hitch then put the strap through the rear window and attached it to one of the seat locks behind the rear seat. It worked well but without the bed cover or rear window Iām not sure...
Great review, well written. Looks like a nice setup.
Iāll add that I have towed trailers for many years and in my experience some trailers just tow better than others, even if theyāre similar in size and weight.
I have a 2023 and it had the Ford roll up with felt. When the felt started falling off I took it to the dealership and they replaced it under warranty with the newer version with the plastic edges. Much better.
A private sale should be fairly simple, just have the buyer meet at your CU and do the deal. Play it safe and donāt go anywhere else or release the vehicle till the deal is done. The buyer can decide how to pay for the vehicle, either cash or finance, to release the title from your name...
Sorry, I did not place sensors in the bumper. I went with a license plate sensor setup.
Hopkins 60100VA nvision backup sensor system. (Amazon)
This was gonna be a temporary solution and I planned on putting in the bumper sensors later. Havenāt got around to it yet, but this system works pretty...
Sorry, I should have circled the issue in the photo. Iām looking at the waves along the top as JP4AZ said. I have an appt with the dealer next week so I just wanted some input cause it doesnāt look right. Should be smooth.
Ford replaced my original hard rollup bed cover because the felt underneath came unglued. Obviously a poor design and a subject of complaints on this forum. I got a new one under warranty and it looks like Ford got rid of the felt and put in plastic spacers, a much better solution. Glad to see...
