Picked up my Maverick today! At this point, deserved shoutout to Kearny Mesa Ford. Was able to get the price-protected X-Plan pricing as I should have! I trusted the dealership and Ford to do right, and it sounds like they scrambled to get it done.

Update: Dealer was able to work it out with Ford and should be getting original X-Plan pricing as expected. Will be picking up truck and finalizing tomorrow!

Wasn't aware of X-Plan when I originally ordered. I then followed up with dealer and requested to use X-Plan, and they said that they would accept it at time of delivery and not to worry about it then.

To me this doesn't make sense since it would mean that there are certain customers that would have to pay more due to Ford's delay in building the vehicles. I think they've shown enough good faith in how they've handled the price protection from price increases and order issues like the 4k Tow...
