That is weird. I guess I got lucky with the black ones that came with my truck. They do match perfectly and it would bother me if they didn't match. Unfortunately I didn't inspect them when they were off during the rotation but I can safely assume that they are the 2 piece lug nut.

In my opinion they match identical. Maybe ford was installing the lug nuts that they had at the time it was coming down the assembly line.😅😂🤣
