Thanks for this info. It would seem to me that the "charging logic" should always be towards full as possible but apparently there's a reason not to do so. If you have any info. it'd be appreciated.
Anyway, if there's a chance of a replacement battery, I will surely jump on it.
My wife still...
Well, we got the recall on my 22 EB. This is interesting because for about the last 2 months, the start/stop feature wasn't working. We went on a cruise and it sat for 9 days, went into battery saver mode, it started right up and now after a few days, the start/stop is working. go fig.
" If a potential collision is detected, an alert sound is emitted and a warning message displays in the message center. If your response is not sufficient, Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) will precharge and increase brake-assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you do brake. If...
Bought my Mav. used but I discovered that one of the shutters was caught on another one and it was jammed. There was no alert for my situation. I could see it and reach into the front area to pull it loose. One thing that I discovered is that the shutters are supposed to close and reopen...
Well, I didn't get any Ford Pass points but the local dealer (Fairway in Canfield, Ohio) had the bug shield for $60.83 and I had to go for it. I wasn't going to add one to my 22 but decided that it already had a couple of chips and the other day a falling acorn put a small dent which is now...
Well, I contacted my salesperson who has been really nice from what I've seen. It turns out that there have been two turn signal recalls and they are Vin dependent. So, the did do one of them and the other is hanging on my Ford pass for no good reason. So, I'm ok with that. My sales guy also...
Thanks for the suggestions. I may pursue the service manager. The previous one actually used to be a good friend but he retired. I also have a second dealership well within the distance that I may try. I also brought the vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation as well as three recall...
Well, I have taken mine to the dealer and the service tech: ""Customer states that the tailgate cable is loose and tailgate is dropping lower than it should be - please check and advise.
Tech's Response: Tailgate operates normally.

So, no repair or replacement from that dealership.
Well, it is going to be your truck of course. Mine happened to have come with one and because I don't carry tall loads very often, I need that space out of sight for what I do regularly carry and the fact that it saves a small portion of fuel, I suggested it.
Went to Mt. Washington last year before we bought the Maverick & took the cog railway up . Glad you had good weather. Ours was chilly, windy and cloudy.
Understand. Sounds like good name brand gasoline. Those first few miles until the engine reaches operating temperature will get ya pretty bad mileage. ... esp if you are climbing hills.
I've found that the AC compressor doesn't use much fuel compared to my previous cars. & I don't know of...
My driving is mostly 50-70 MPH roads. Not much city driving and I keep it on the "Eco mode" and 87 octane gas. I'm wondering about your type of fuel? and More specifically, I'm wondering if you're getting high ethanol or impurities in the gas?
I think if you're going tank to tank for your MPG calculations, then the accuracy can be an issue by doing the math and by the dash readout but the longer the distance, the more accurate either can be. I used to check fuel mileage by readings from the pump back when they didn't have readouts on...
