Why didn't the installer use the 12v accessory provision instead of the trailer harness? My guess is ignorance and laziness.

I didn't mention that I did pull a car with the Maverick on a dolly.

I wouldn't haul a car on my tandem trailer pulled by my Maverick unless the car or UTV weighs about 1,500 lbs. Golf cart, motorcycles yeah. Altima, no.

Thanks for the standard Northerner advice. When the snow melts or heavy rains come there is muck. I have to drive uphill about 500 feet through muddy clay soil. Those giant 255/50R20 skateboard tires just pack with muck and the truck struggles to escape my property. It then takes time and money...

First oil change with the Rival pan in place went without a hitch on my '25 hybrid AWD.

I've had a low battery condition at startup and cold start conditions where Max Defrost is commanded. Both request a high idle close to 2,000 RPM and typically only for a brief period. Certainly not what I experienced at close to 6,000 RPM. That's a straight up malfunction!

Update: The backordered skid plate arrived this week and I installed it yesterday.

The 4k pkg is more than just towing. There is improved cooling and you get the nifty 7-pin trailer plug, lol. Money WELL SPENT! Pinch pennies elsewhere, like if you dont need fancy trim save tens of thousands of dollars and go basic.
