I tossed my Christmas Tree in the back and took it to the town tree drop-off place. This is my first pick-up. It felt great to throw the tree in the back and drive off.
I feel the same way as most everyone else. I've had it for a few weeks and my wife and I both love it. It's just fun to drive. Also, I would rather have an optioned-out Lariat than a more base level larger truck. I've played with all the options and I think they're worth it. I would do all...
I'm not surprised that gas mileage doesn't change much, and just cruising around feels about the same. Some day I'll experiment with higher octane when I'm towing something and see if it feels different.
Yup. I just press Ok at the error and drive on. No side-effects that I can see, and I'm happier. I have "engine dying PTSD". Way back in the day, the engine dying at a stop light meant I could absolutely not get it started again - unquestionably a disaster, always had to push it to the side...
I pulled the plug off of one of the posts on my battery, like the guy does in this video. I get a warning when I start up, but my auto start/stop is deactivated.
Took mine out in the snow today! I wanted to see what would happen, and the Mav did great! I left it in "Normal" and tried to spin it in a snowy parking lot. I was really impressed - AWD kept it going where I pointed it and the anti-lock brakes kept it going straight. I don't off-road, so I...
I bought a couple of these and use them for different things. I keep one on my garage queen, 2019 Bullitt, I have one on my electric start emergency generator, and I put it on my Mav when I got it. Every new car I've had needed a weekend on the trickle charger. After that, they stay charged...
I've used it on stretches of roads with fairly new lines and it worked well. I didn't squeeze the wheel, I gave it minor inputs from time to time. The alarm sounded if I didn't give it some resistance or provide input by moving the wheel slightly. I turned any alarm settings I could find in...
I don't doubt that the acoustic glass and heating elements make the windshield cost more to buy and install. For me, these features are a big benefit. I'm a lot less fatigued after 30 minutes of driving in the rain when I have an acoustic windshield. All the rain splatter and wiper squeegee...
I notice a big difference in noise level between acoustic and non-acoustic windshield when I drive in the rain. Driving on the highway in rain - the rain impact sound and the wiper squeegee sound disappear. It's a noticeable difference, and I like it. Much less fatigue after driving on the...
A lot of GREAT suggestions! Like jewc75, I use a blower to dry the truck. Use a product that helps dry, then use a leaf blower or a high-powered blower like this if you want to go all in. I have one and love it.

Love this thread, I'm going to follow it. I may have missed the discussion somewhere, but what is the octane you are running? Anyone compare different octanes just to see what happens? I just started, 75 miles, haven't even refueled yet, and getting upper 20s with mixed driving.
I just got mine on Monday, 12/27/21. Been driving it around and playing with it. Zero problems, everything works. My wife drives it as much as I do and we both love it!
