  1. Ford Not My Favorite Today

Its kind of mid really. More complex than needed, but better than those older escapes lol. My mustsng was really easy. Just a little dedicated box with a plastic lid. They should all be like that, but alas.
  2. Love these things -the truck!

Same color tremor as mine, haha. The Lobo is really cool, hope you enjoy
  3. Anyone ever have issues getting warranty service at dealers they didn't buy from?

Yeah, this is a far bigger factor than where you bought the car. If they're already swamped they have zero incentive to be helpful.
  4. Post Your Other Rides / Vehicles

From what I saw, the software update just provides a fail safe if it doesn't go into park. Doesn't really fix the underlying issue which is mechanical in nature
  5. Future of Maverick after Escape discontinued?

    Really sad honestly
  6. Bait and Switch ...You be the judge

The fact they wouldn't let you put a deposit is proof the truck was already sold before you ever called. They just respected you and your time so little that they decided not to tell you lol
  7. Seat comfort

Thats smart, I might have to do that 😂 lifting the seat up helped immensely so I think im close to homing back in on where it was
  8. Seat comfort

Yeah, its the worst. And good to know about the raising actually being useful, ill have to mess with that. Yeah, I have to go trade it in because of this lol Good idea, ill do a full neutral position and just add from there. Adjusting one thing here and there isnt getting me back lol
  9. Seat comfort

So im very confused, but the first 5 months I had my maverick, the seat was perfect. I handed it over to a shop for some ppf work, and they moved it slightly, and now it feels like I literally cant find a comfortable position 😂 i have the 8 way power cloth seat, does anyone have any advice...
  10. Did My eco boost Maverick really beat that hot rod Chevelle SS ?

The Tremor is oddly quick, I wonder if its the shorter final drive ratio helping it out. Or it just has better torque management. I beat a 05-09 Mustang GT, so its not implausible you beat a Chevelle if it was all stock. They arent that slow but traction with a 454 big block can be a problem.
  11. Spark Plug change w/ cylinder boroscope photos (2022 Ecoboost @ 53k miles)

Everything looks good. Carbon on the edges or near valve reliefs is pretty common, since there's usually less thermal energy in those areas. Plugs should really be changed more often on turbo engines though. I'd try to hit 30-35K per set.
  12. Mave's first snow. Very happy with Maverick Tremor!

I have one like in the second link, but I never use it. In theory it offers better stability but ive never had a problem with any of my cars and my method
  13. Mave's first snow. Very happy with Maverick Tremor!

Nope. I just let it deform around it (not that it does much). It grips the pinch weld really well and doesn't damage any finish.
  14. Mave's first snow. Very happy with Maverick Tremor!

I just use a competition hockey puck, works great
  15. Mave's first snow. Very happy with Maverick Tremor!

I dont think most A/T tread patterns will be great in snow, but i think the wildpeaks in particular are very sensitive to inflation level in this particular instance
  16. Facelift 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD is a lot quicker/faster than 2024 FWD Model (acceleration figures by Car and Driver)

Sorry, I probably minced some words in that overly long paragraph, but I just meant horsepower is a work over time metric. Its derived from torque over a given rpm like you stated.
  17. Facelift 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD is a lot quicker/faster than 2024 FWD Model (acceleration figures by Car and Driver)

No, horsepower is a more useful metric to express acceleration. Technically torque is the actual unit of force, but horsepower calculates it over time as an average (unit of work). You can have 2,000 ft lbs over 5RPM, and unless you have 200 instant shifting gears, you arent accelerating very...
  18. Facelift 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD is a lot quicker/faster than 2024 FWD Model (acceleration figures by Car and Driver)

This exactly is why the hybrid is a better choice if you're going to tow regularly, although it's not necessarily immune to high temperatures. I think I read on here somewhere that some of the temps that the truck doesn't show you by default can be logged. Some of the hybrid components can get...
  19. Changing Dial Shifter?

My only issue with the dial is that it looks dumb. Because it has definitive clicks and doesn't freewheel it's actually just fine to use, but still lol
