Need dictates form. The only vehicle able to reliably get through my land at present has 4x4, locking differential and studded snow tires. When summer comes, I'll put the street tires back on and save the all terrain tires for crappy weather. Hopefully in 2025 I'll have a garage and a driveway...

It's difficult to engineer any locking axle solution for the hybrid AWD, though it's affordable to install AT tires and a suspension lift kit. That is what I'm doing.
