Here a little unibody three wheel motion goofing off at work :) I just backed up the hill to get this shot. This is my '25 Tremor in off road mode. The front or rear tires did not spin at all. The one rear tire did slide sideways a total of about 6" the entire way up. The only struggle was the...
I got traction boards today, used, off FB Marketplace for my heavily used, slightly abused, Tremor. They fit nicely on top of the RTT, in the sides of the ladder, and I can still close my tonneau cover :)
I like it. One press of the start/stop button does all these things: shuts off the engine, puts the truck in park, decides if it should also use the parking brake, and turns off the headlights.
I agree with most others. Using Android Auto, or whatever iPhones call theirs, is much better and doesn't cost you any more than your current cell phone plan. Skip Sirius as well, as you can do all that on your phone.
From how many people complain about rattles, I'm thankful mine hardly makes any noise. Maybe the boss was watching when they put it together, or I just have a higher tolerance for vibrations. I'm also losing my hearing, so that might be a blessing. That said, what bothers me more now than when I...
I have a 110v/12v Kobalt inflator. I prefer the 110v option because the 12v plug gets too hot after airing up all four tires. While I'm not sure if it has a longer duty cycle, it certainly feels like it. I think the (perceived) longer duty cycle is due to the 110v plug/cord not getting hot, and...
Haha right :D The few people that ride in the backseat know what it is. I just do not feel the need to overcomplicate a simple solution that works perfectly. I did a little shopping spree at Harbor Freight just before my first camping trip in my new Maverick. I thought, look at that, the fire...
My new favorite roof-top-tent-in-the-bed photo from camping last night on Sierra Madre Rd near New Cuyama, CA, along with a photo of what it looks like folded up.
I'm like Captain Hook when it comes to things clicking and rattling when I drive. That's why I'm glad I didn't get one of these that people complain about noises in the dash or anywhere like that lol
I have a First Alert Marine/Auto fire extinguisher, that I got from Harbor Freight, and fits perfectly in the big door cup holders that "nothing fits in". At first, it rattled a little when I was going off road. All it took to fix the rattle was to slip a tube sock over it. It now sits perfectly...
I dropped off my Maverick yesterday afternoon, after work. This morning, my daughter dropped me off at work. About 10:30 this morning, I got the call that they replaced a coil pack and a spark plug.
I was a little bummed about being without my baby for a day but I'm glad it was a covered fix...
Here is the highest I have ever camped in my Maverick Tremor. It is a little over 8100 feet on Buck Rock Jeep Trail near Hume Lake https://maps.app.goo.gl/HvV2jJQzrAnKBJ9g9...
I hope mine is that simple. This is my first check engine light but my second warranty repair. A few months ago, my telematics module quit. That was also not a big deal since all it did was kill the speed limit recognition part of the advanced cruise control and I lost communication with the...
I got my first check engine light on my Tremor at 28,000 miles. About a week before, I noticed a shudder under heavy acceleration while merging on the highway. No check engine light at first. I was avoiding full acceleration until a good time came up at work to drop it off at the dealership...
